PERSONALITY!

I love this little guy so much!
He has such a personality...everyday is exciting...you never know what might happen or what he could possibly discover.

This day it was my blush!

Girl panties and all, playing super-hero with Brooks.

He loves to steal my chair at the computer. This is a couple times a day game between he and I. The little stinker is a lot faster than I am these days!

Every time we come in from outside he is wanting to let the dogs in.
Juke never needs much convincing!

Jeslyn was getting ready for a school ski trip and Clay happened upon her goggles.
I think he makes a cute little monster...trying to scare us and all.

While I was taking down all of our Christmas decorations he happened to find this Santa hat in one of the totes. The hat happened to be magic...for when he put it on his head he began to dance around...HO HO HO! Clay became Santa! I had to sit on his lap repeatedly and tell him what I wanted for Christmas, then he would run over to the toy box and dig through it to findsomething similar and/or comparable to what I wanted and bring it to me and say "Merry Christmas"! It was very cute and fun!

Of course he had to have Jauncee's shoes on all the while! I think for a week straight he would wear these around night and morning. I couldn't believe how coordinated he was in them...even on the wrong feet.

Thank heavens for little boys...more importantly...Our Clay Boone Johnson!

Soil Conservation Contest

Jeslyn participated in the IASCD Poster Contest, she won 1st place in our school district and 2nd place in the county. She made $41.00!

GOOD JOB JES!

Christmas Celebrations!

Christmas came early to our household...not because we wanted it to...more because we had to! The girls needed to spend their Christmas break in Utah so we had a family celebration before they left! We had a nice dinner and for dessert, I surprised the girls with chocolate fondue. I think Clay enjoyed this treat the most!

Before we opened presents we read a really good Christmas story called "That Thine Alms May Be in Secret" by George D Durrant. It was very touching and fitting for the season.

Then on to the PRESENTS!

Posing in their new jammies!

Clay wasn't a very willing participant!

Everyone made out well and was happy at the end of the evening! They each got a practical gift...something that they needed, a DVD, pj's, and something fun!

CHRISTMAS IN HOLDEN!

The next day we headed to Utah. We made a quick stop in Holden so the girls could see Papa and Grandmas Jill. Of course there were more presents!

All 3 of them LOVED their presents! Grandma did a great job.

CHRISTMAS DAY!
Christmas morning was really quiet at our house. The 3 of us rolled out of bed about 8:30 and to Clay's surprise...there were presents under the tree...lots of them!

It took this little guy ALL day to open up his presents. After each one, all he wanted to do was to play with them. Dad had the not so fun job of getting each one out the packaging.  I think he had sore fingers by the end!

This little guy is so cute, while he was opening presents he would turn to us with a big smile and say "Happy Birthday"...it was funny! We would correct him and tell him "Merry Christmas". Technically he was right!

We took an intermission from opening presents at our house and ventured over to Grandpa and Grandma Johnson's for pancakes...and of course more presents!

Then back home and opened MORE PRESENTS! This time Clay found under the tree a Combine! Just what he had asked Santa for.

Clay and Daddy had fun cutting grain together!

It was such a beautiful sunny day, the snow glistened. It was very serene.

After feeding the cows we headed up to the sleigh hill on snowmobiles. Of course all I could do was watch! I did get to pick them up at the bottom and bring them back to to top for another trip down.

Clay quickly tired of this so we went for a snowmobile ride up in the mountains. It was fun, but I was a little worried about falling off or getting hurt...especially being so far along in this pregnancy.

We had hopes of seeing some deer or elk, but never did.

On the way home, we pulled Clay in the sleigh behind the snowmobile until he got too cold!

Once home we warmed up with minestrone soup, crackers and cheese ball. Took a little snooze and enjoyed the afternoon. Later that evening Dirk made made dinner for us 3; spare-ribs and boy were they delightful!

It was a wonderful Christmas, one I am certain we all will remember. The only thing missing....THE GIRLS!
