A week in Holden

It is an annual tradition to spend a week in Holden every summer. This year it happened to work out that our week fell the very first week of June. Luckily the weather cooperated and was HOT! WE spent our days swimming, jumping on the trampoline, running around at the sand hills and MORE SWIMMING! All of us look forward to spending time with Grandma and Papa and this year did not disappoint. It was so much fun, the kids all think we need to go back!

We arrived in Holden Sunday evening and were able to eat Grandma Jill's famous Sunday dinner. It was divine and took me back to my childhood.  And of course we had cousins there ready to greet us!
Baby Waylan and Brooks!

The next day all my kids could think about was setting up the pool. So we did. They didn't even seem to mind that it was so early the sun wasn't fully shining on it.

At the very beginning of the week, the trampoline started out with a tiny hole. Every time the kids would jump the hole seemed to slowly get bigger and bigger until finally....................

Someone fell through! And it happened to be Jes.

One of the days, Aunt Kristi took Jeslyn and Khari over to Yuba for some afternoon lake fun.

We love going to Holden and had so much fun this trip.
Looking forward to next time!
