What???....Pajamas to school!

This past Tuesday, I arrive at Kristal’s house to pick-up Jauncee and find her still in her pajamas. I was mortified! Apparently she went to both tumbling and pre-school dressed in her pj’s. The first thing I said was what??? Why are you still in you pajamas Jauncee? Kristal could tell I was upset and I was to say the least. How could she have not known was my first thought, and then I thought even though Jauncee is only 4, she should know better. What a stinker! I felt like the worst mother ever. What do you think her teachers thought of me sending her in her pajamas? I called my mother crying and she is always so good at calming me down and making me feel better. Then Kristal later called and apologized, and I felt really bad that I was somewhat rude. Tuesday morning was no different than any other morning, I always get Jauncee up and do her hair, but I always leave her in her pajamas until after she eats breakfast and lunch prior to going to school. I guess her jamies were just too cute, everyone thought that was what she was supposed to wear. I love you sweetheart, but no more wearing pajamas to school. And Kristal, you do an awesome job, I am glad my girls are welcome in your home and your life. Thanks for all you do for us 3!
What a sad face :(
Momma is sorry! - I love you.

My Dancer of the Month

My little love is the Dance Break Studio spotlight of the month – GOOD JOB!

Jauncee Louise the dancing disco queen twirled her self all the way to dancer of the month. She moves and shakes whether on the dance floor or the living room stage. And when the rest of us think the music has stopped she is still bopping away to the beat. We should all be so lucky to be open enough to hear all the music in the world and then dance to it like nobody is watching.

A big thanks to her awesome teachers, Brenda and Shayla, thank you for making it so much fun and for being so good to Jauncee and her self esteem!

My Snow Bunny

Jauncee - my little snow bunny! She loves to go sledding. She is constantly begging to go to the North Park, every time we pass it she whines to stop! She is quite the trooper, she rides her tube down and then like a big girl walks up all on her own carrying her tube.

CHRISTMAS CHEERS!

The Eve of Christmas Eve! I have tried to carry on a tradition that my mother did for us kids growing up on Christmas Eve we all got to open up one gift - the one from our parents - and it was always the same thing from year to year, I don't know about my siblings, but I sure looked forward to them all year, every year - PAJAMAS! I do the same thing for my girls except that they haven't figured out that it is the same from year to year they always seem to wonder what is in the present from mom under the tree. The only difference this year was we had to do it a day early and they got to open up one other present.

The girls in their new pajamas!

Modeling their princess attire! - Thanks Grandma Bonnie

Which one do you think rules the roost?

Jauncee?

Jeslyn?

OR

MOM?!.
Of Course, we all know!

and finally. . .CHRISTMAS!

What a wonderful time Christmas is – I just love it! I got kind of a late start on it with the sale in Las Vegas, but I learned never to procrastinate until the last few shopping days, or you will pay! Nonetheless I got everything accomplished that I needed too including buying myself a “new to me” car! – YEAH! My girls spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with their dads and I spent the time with my family – I really enjoyed being all together as a family; I wished my girls could have bee their. It was fun watching my nephews and niece open their presents, they were so excited. Later that afternoon we all met back up at my Grandma Turner’s in Kanosh for a delicious dinner, where my girls joined us. My mom is a wonderful cook, the only one better than her I believe is my Grandmother! It is always a treat when you get invited to eat at her house. Later that evening we headed back to our little patch of heaven to see if by some chance a visitor had come the night before, sure enough SANTA had come! After the chaos of opening presents once again, we all snuggled up together and watched a Christmas movie. A perfect end to a perfect day!

The next day we went to Grandmas. Max was so cute and funny he was brushing Jeslyn's hair while she was watching tv. That little man has the cutest little personality ever! We all love him so much and are going to miss him when they move.

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and have a Happy & Prosperous New Year!
Lots of Love!
