Fish Fry

One of our favorite days of the year!
The Fish Fry!
Full of fabulous food, great company and the perfect setting.
Uncle John and Aunt Sandy do such a fabulous job of entertaining.
Everyone leaves with their cup running over, a full belly and prepared for the upcoming flu season.
What better way to celebrate the end of summer!

I was surprised with a big bag full of diapers!
So grateful for a loving family!

This year did not disappoint.
The time always seems to fly by and before we know it, it is time to head on home.

Thankfully we have next year to look forward too!

The Aquarium

It was summers end and we had yet to take a little get away as a family. So we decided to take off the day before the Fish Fry and visit The Living Planet Aquarium, stay in a Hotel, swim, shop and of course fine dine!
It was a nice short get away. The only thing missing was Jauncee!

We all had a really great time.
The aquarium is kinda expensive, but the kids had fun and that is all that matters.

My MVP

Go Clay Boone Go!
We have a football star in the house.
This kid knows just about everything there is to know about football.
He eats, sleeps and drinks FOOTBALL!
His favorite NFL team is the Cincinnati  Bengals and his favorite college team is of course the Boise State Broncos with BYU coming in as his second choice.
This kid even had his daddy paint the grass into a field.
On a weekly basis Clay can tell you who is playing who, and also who won.
To date, his favorite NFL team has a perfect record!
Football has quickly become a family favorite thanks to him.
We all have our favorite individual teams that we each root for. They are as follows:
Daddy - Minnesota Vikings
Jeslyn - Seattle Seahawks
Jauncee - San Francisco 49ers
Clay - Cincinnati Bengals
Dakota - Green Bay Packers
Momma didn't have a favorite team until all the kids insisted. So I chose the Dirty Birds or the Chicago Bears. Clay thinks I should pick the Cardinals.

I sure do love this sweet boy of mine!
I am glad that he has a passion for something that is real.
I am really going to miss all the "games" that I got to attend every morning this past summer and fall.
Let's hope winter comes and goes quickly. In the process giving us amble water to thrive.
I am not sure how this kids is going to survive not playing on a daily basis. (Or my couches for that matter!)

I look forward to the day that I get to watch him play and be on an actual team.
I just hope it doesn't come too quickly!
I enjoy him being my little 5 year old boy.

GO CLAY!
