Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! The best thing about Halloween is that you get to be whoever you want!
Carving pumpkins is a HUGE part of Halloween for the kids. They look forward to it every year. Surveying each pumpkin and then picking out just the right one. We are no Michelangelo's here...so our pumpkins are very basic. This kids don't seem to mind and this year Jeslyn and Jauncee did most of it all by themselves. We even got Daddy in on the fun!

This little guy kept trying to steal some of the brownies that I had made...and he could of had some...had he of eaten just a little bit more of his dinner!
We have the cutest kids in the world! Love them all so very much!
Halloween Eve is a bit like Christmas Eve to the kiddos.
Anticipation of what fun the day will bring. I am sure it did not disappoint. The girls both dressed up for school and partied all day long. They don't get to wear all the makeup to school. So once they got home we got busy painting faces. Once we were ready they posed for our annual Halloween picture and then we were of to the Trunk or Treat and Carnival.
Of course it was cold that evening and the kids couldn't wait to get in to the carnival.
This year Dirk and I both decided to dress up with kids! While shopping for a costume, Clay kept insisting that I could not be something scary!
At about 7:30 we met up with daddy and went trick-or-treating around the town of Bancroft. The kids had really fun doing this.
Our last stop of the night was Gpa & Gma Johnson's!
It was a great Halloween!
