Thanksgiving weekend spent in Holden!
I always take my camera planning on taking tons of pictures, but never actually end up with very many. This year was no different. It was however, the best holiday weekend I have had in awhile. It is always great to see family and to be "home" for a few days.
These 2 cute little munchkins helping me pack! Well at least giving me the time to pack.
Thanksgiving Day!
Waiting for everyone to show up.
The first time we met baby Waylon. He is SO CUTE! I fell in love immediately.
I think my mom said 28 people were going to be there for dinner. I think she needs a bigger room!
One of the turkeys - Smoked! Don't let the outside foul you, it was so juicy and tender! SO good!
Sleepover with cousins in the basement!
On Sunday, Jake blessed his sweet baby after church. He did an AMAZING job. I was so proud of him and so happy for him and his little family. After the blessing everyone gathered together at Judd's house for dinner. There was so many people there. It was so much fun to see everyone that I have not seen in years.
Unfortunately for us, we had a a really LONG trek to make back home, so we didn't stay too long. The kids that take piano all played a solo for the grandma's then we headed home.
Of course not without tears!
I have so much to be THANKFUL for, I am truly blessed. I am grateful that I got to spend the weekend with the ones that I love the most.
Thanksgiving is the best holiday!
