Halloween

I love the Halloween and so do the kids. They all had been stewing for months about what to be on Halloween! Clay changed his mind twice and finally settled upon Spiderman. And Jauncee....it never fails, every year she plans on being something beautiful and elegant and wears it to school and then comes home and wants to change into something spooky, this year was no different. She started out being Miss America and then ended up being a vampire princess. Jeslyn is always creative and uses things from our house to create a costume. She looked fabulous as a hippie! It was nice to have Halloween on a weekend for us, not having to worry about getting home early to get ready for school the next day. I think we all enjoyed the Holiday more.

We started the day out carving pumpkins. I love to carve pumpkins but with the girls older now they want to do it all by themselves.

Every year we support the Sophomore class at their fundraising carnival. It is always a surprise as to how good it is going to be.  This year we bought more tickets than there were games to play.

So we entered the cake walk every time they did one trying to win a delicious cake. Jauncee won and she chose these cupcakes that did not look very good. They were more frosting than cake. So I was determined I was going to win, and did but got the very last cake that we left. I t looked good but didn't taste the greatest.

The best part of the night was when Dirk won Blackout at the Bingo table for the grand prize. Wahoo!! A weekend stay in Bear Lake!
