Fair time is finally here, and it's a great time to watch livestock shows, eat junk food, catch a rodeo, spend time with family, and enjoy visiting with friends.
Fair time is definitely one we look forward to each summer. Every year new memories are made! All the hard work and persistence culminates in just 3 days. This year Jeslyn had her own cheering section. So glad my family was able to make it up to watch and support her.
Jeslyn participated first in Showmanship where she took 1st place in her class and 3rd overall. Jeslyn also participated in Quality, where she took 1st place in her class and competed for overall and won GRAND CHAMPION!
The following pictures are a showcase of photos from the 3 days.
Although the fair consists of many hours in the livestock barn, we manage to always take advantage of all the other activities available for the kids.
Here is my cute Tiger
This year Grandpa Terry was asked to take the Grand Marshall in the parade, so Daddy and Clay rode with him.
That is up until Clay decided to jump wagon and head to another one...one that he could throw candy from!
I think the parade and the carnival was probably Clays favorite part.
Dakota, she loved the....
PIGS, and the
LAMBS!
I am very grateful for the 4-H programs that give children the opportunity to be involved with all forms of livestock. For Jeslyn, it is a way to connect with our family roots and the community.
Thank you to all who supported Jeslyn during and through this project.
We are already planning for next year!
