Pioneer Day

24th of July!
Clay anticipated this day from the moment the Primary began talking about riding bikes in the parade at the end of June. He would ask daily if today was the day he got to ride his bike in the parade. Finally the day came!

He made sure his bike was spic and span  clean! Then we carefully decorated it and hauled in to town for the annual parade.

Jauncee also participated in on the fun!

Dakota and I participated from the sidewalk, cheering on everyone we knew and catching candy for the kids.

Grandpa Johnson  took the Grand Marshall of the parade.

Jeslyn rode on the Young Women's float. They made it in honor of  Toolsons a once booming mercantile. It is still open but buyer beware!

Jauncee and Clay rode with Bancroft Primary "The Best in the West"

The nice thing about The Bancroft Parade is once the line-up is finished the come back the other way. Who wouldn't want to see a parade twice?

This was my favorite float...besides my cute kids of course!
Be Fishers of Men...You catch em, He'll clean 'em!
I thought it was very clever and so true.

Our daddy had to work this day so we decided to head to Pocatello for the afternoon.

Our little loves...sure wish they would stop growing up so fast!

A picture of special women on a special day!
Wish I could have been a part of it.
Thanks to the Bartholomews for paying tribute to my grandpa and grandma Turner at the Kanosh Parade!
