GARLIC, GARLIC, and more GARLIC!
And yes, this is exactly what it looks like...A LOT OF WORK!
Last fall, we invested in a new venture...Gourmet Hardneck Garlic!
We planted 1/3 of an acre, and did it all by hand. It is not for the faint of heart! With everybody's help we were able to accomplish this task and reap the fruits of our labors! The harvest was even more intense than the planting. Which we also did ALL by hand, except 1 row we were tinkering with a homemade invention to help speed things up. In the end, we all went to work and got the harvest in by the sweat of our brow! We had a good crop of several varieties. As with any new venture, it takes awhile to build a strong business and to wok out all the kinks!
If there is any interest in gourmet garlic we have some available in 1 lb. increments as well as several garlic braids.
