5th Annual "Bulls In Bancroft" Production Sale

It is hard to believe we have 5 sales under our belt!
What a good feeling.
One would think that with each passing sale it would get easier, but that is not necessarily the case. It takes a lot of time and work to put together a professional sale and for it to be successful.
We can all proudly say that the 2015 - Bulls In Bancroft Production Sale was a success!
Of course none of it would be possible without the amazing work ethic and ambition behind the master mind of it all...Our loving father and husband, Dirk! He amazes me everyday at all he accomplishes! Not only does he have a full time job clocking 60 hours a week, he also runs 100+ Purebred cattle and puts on a production sale, as well as farms here and there. We should bottle up all his ambition and work ethic and sale it!

The sale is one event that is anticipated for months.
I think we all have different reasons why. I know for the kids, they like to see Papa, Grandma, Aunt JoJo, and Brady. This year Jake, Kristi and Waylon joined them. It was a lot of fun having everyone here. There is so much work to do and so many people coming and going that we all don't get to spend too much time hanging, but nonetheless, seeing them for any amount of time is better than not at all!

I think by 11:00 Clay had had 2 rootbeers and a couple cookies down.
Only on sale day!

This year we broadcast the sale over the internet with Superior Productions. Kelly Kunzler was our rep handling all the calls and the bids. We actually had quite a bit if activity online.

There is so much hard work and emotion that goes into a production sale. It is hard to put into words the feeling of gratitude and success once it is over. It is a huge high!
I am so grateful for this opportunity. I hope this is a life long tradition for our family. One we can pass down to the next generation!
